I use this amp currently with Sennheiser HD800, it is a good pairing. However, it is a very revealing pairing. With the right DAC the sound is super however. I also owned the Beyerdynamic T1 for a couple months and will say that this is probably a better pairing for the Auditor as the T1 is very performant, but somewhat colored, so the coloration allows the use of some sources that simply sound bad with HD800's.

Overall I've been impressed by the ridiculous transparency of the Auditor. Interestingly, the amp is also very transparent to AC quality as well. If you think you can't hear the difference between power cords, or surge suppressors, try the Auditor, you will hear for yourself what these different things do to the sound.

Nice honest review. I concur and feel that the Auditor is an audiophile bargain. As Francis notes, this amp might not be for everyone, but if you think you are ready for a colourless and powerful headphone amp, the Auditor may be for you too.

I pair mine with the Beyerdynamic T1 and the Auditor takes control.

Also the "end of ear fatigue" is no marketing gimmick. It is one of the Auditor's strongest features.

Clean, clear, powerful and very well built.
